We want to build up a directory of email addresses for both parents and scouts. This will be useful for:
-> Keeping scouts informed on badge information
-> Distributing information on activities and camps to scouts and parents
-> Notes sent home with scouts have a habit of never reaching a parent. We type the majority of notes, and in future will not only send a printed copy home with the scout, but will circulate it electronically to the mailing list.
I have tried to compile a list during scouts - this has proven to be a nightmare, so I would like to gather the information outside of troop nights. Could I ask that you send me email details by clicking here. In the mail can you please include:
-> your name
-> the name of scout you are the parent/guardian of (unless you are a scout!)
-> your email address(es) and that of the scout
I will ask the scout on a troop night if the info is correct - this will ensure that all information received is genuinely from a parent/guardian or scout. Alternatively you can include a piece of information which only a parent/guardian or scout would know.
